The CIF is part of a drive to revitalize the Cameroonian economy, coupled with the desire of the government and public authorities to create an environment conducive to business. In addition to the great mobilization of local institutional actors, the strong participation of foreign entrepreneurs sufficiently illustrates the strong and unique relationship that exists between Cameroon and the international business community.
Description
As during the third edition of the CIF held in 2019, it is fundamentally a question during this edition of explaining and showing national economic operators and foreign investors that Cameroon remains a beautiful destination and above all a melting pot of opportunities. immense and varied investment opportunities to invite the latter to participate in the development of the Cameroon of tomorrow by seizing the investment opportunities that present themselves to them today and to solicit the assistance of the participants in the current reflection on the reduction of abysmal deficit in its trade balance.
It is also important, alongside the actions carried out on a daily basis by the government and public authorities to influence the current trend in imports and resolutely commit the country to the virtuous trajectory of "Consuming what we produce and producing what we consume", to publicize on a large scale that despite a number of administrative dysfunctions and structural constraints which still hamper the competitiveness of the investment environment in Cameroon, its economy is resilient and offers enormous opportunities for participation and co-financing.
